Home Reality: Earth 1985 - A strange dimension stuck in the eighties, where familiar characters have unfamiliar powers. What no one is aware of, is this world hasn't budged from that year in ages. Time travel stops at that year, it goes on in a never ending loop.

What did this person do wrong to be pulled out by the Timebroker? The Timebroker needs someone to address the time loop of her world. After celebrating four consecutive 17 year old birthdays and four 1985 New Years Eve parties, she has a feeling that someone isn't quite right but has yet to put her finger on it.

Appearance: With the large span of her wings, it's difficult to consider Jubilee petite, exactly. Her snow white wings give her a remarkable angelic presence which is cannot completely be dampened by her clownish personality and distinctly 80s fashion sense. Also, she totally rocks the mullet.

Powers / Skills Flight, Jubilee's primary power. Her wings have superhuman strength and a very flexible skeletal structure that enables her to press them to the back of her torso and legs with only the slightest bulge visible under her clothing. While she generally flies below the height of clouds, jubilee can reach almost twice this height with little effort. At her absolute maximum, she can reach the highest recorded altitude of a bird in flight - about the height above sea level of Mount Everest - but she can only remain that high for several minutes. She can fly nonstop under her own power for around half a day.

Bird-like structure. Her bones are hollow, her body processes food more efficiently than a normal human body and does not store any excess fat, and her superhumanly sharp eyes can withstand high-speed winds which would damage the average human eye. Her lungs can extract oxygen from the air at high velocities or altitudes, and she can cope with the reduced temperatures at low altitudes for prolonged periods of time, giving him a greater-than-normal capacity to endure low temperatures in areas such as the arctic.

Weaknesses: No healing factor. No real martial arts skills. Socially awkward.

Personality: Jubilee does not have very strong social skills which she attempts to make up for by working especially hard to be friendly and extroverted. Outwardly she is incredibly blunt and lacks any sign of knowing the definition of the word tact, making up for years of growing up in a strict environment. Inwardly, she is still the disciplined and hard working girl that her parents raised her to be. Although she would never show any sign of sadness, preferring to hide the darker feelings in loud stunts, she still mourns the death of her parents. Despite her aversion to study, she still works obsessively to explore the full extent of what she's physically capable of, especially in gymnastics and flight.

Overview: Jubilation lee is a second generation Chinese-American, born to aging parents in wealthy Beverly Hills, California. She was a kinesthetic savant and though young, she was expected to become an olympic level gymnast. Her parents pushed her incredibly hard and Jubilee had little time for normal, social activities.

When her mutation emerged her father became enraged and her mother afraid. Unwilling to let all of their hard work be for naught, they plucked jubilee's feathers regularly and taped the bare, fleshy folds of her wings to her back. It was a painful, bloody ritual but the child did not dare complain. Her parents were only trying to do what was best.

Before her wings were fully grown and anyone had suspected her mutation, the elder Lee's were said to be killed in a car accident. Despite suspicious circumstances the case was closed and Jubilee was sent to an orphanage. It was only days before she ran away and sought refuge in a Hollywood shopping mall. Without her parents' to tear the feathers from her back, Jubilee's wings made a one-hundred percent recovery.

She started out by hiding in the bathrooms at night and stealing food in the day. When security caught on to the homeless teenager and gave pursuit, Jubilee opened her wings for the first time and flew, albeit awkwardly, and successfully evaded security. Overnight the young mutant became instantly famous. School children and businessmen alike brought in loaves of bread and in return she preformed stunts for their entertainment. The authorities scratched their heads, unwilling to harm the overnight media albatross darling but also unable to catch her safely.

It wasn't long before the national news coverage caught the attention of Charles Xavier and Erik Lensherr. They managed to convince the girl to come with them where she would be provided for with other mutants like herself. Jubilee was very popular among her peers largely due to her antics. She could get the shyest students to open up to her blunt charm, although at times she could be difficult to handle. School work never really interested her.

Then the Timebroker brought her in. The rest, they say, is history.
